Boarding is currently unavailable as we focus on meeting the needs of our patients during the COVID epidemic.

General Information: We will do our best to make your pet's stay at our facility as comfortable as being in his or her own home.  We require reservations to board your pet.  Boarding reservations need to be made at least one week in advance.  Due to space limitations, we can not board pets over 85 pounds.  We provide blankets and bedding for their comfort, however if your pet would feel less stressed during their stay with us to have a special or personal object (bedding or toy), you may send an item along with him or her.  Your pet will be taken outside to an individual run at least three times per day to go to the bathroom and for exercise.  A staff member comes in the middle of the night to check on pets boarding with us.  To make sure your pet receives personalized care, we need you to provide a completed boarding form before we can accept your pet.  The boarding form may be sent to you through the mail or printed out below, filled out and brought in with your pet.

Vaccinations: All pets must have current vaccinations, including the Bordetella Vaccine for dogs.  If vaccinations are not current, they must be given at least 72 hours prior to boarding.

Feeding: We feed boarding pets Science Diet pet foods.  If you feed your pet a different food, or a prescription diet, we ask that you provide enough of the regular diet and treats for the entire stay.  If your pet has specific feeding instructions, the information needs to be given in the boarding form that may be printed out below.

Medication: Please bring with you any medications your pet may need while staying with us, including heartworm or flea preventative.  Directions for any medications may be listed in the boarding form.

Additional Procedures: There is the option of getting additional  procedures performed while your pet is staying with us.  Some of these procedures may include surgery, bathing/grooming, anal gland expression, or a nail trim.  These options will be listed in the boarding form.  If you request that your pet get a bath, it will be done on the day prior to check-out.  Pets checking out on Monday will be bathed on Saturday.  All of these services are an additional cost.  No routine physical or diagnostic exams will be performed on pets while boarding, unless otherwise instructed for special treatment.  If you would like your pet examined or if he/she needs vaccinations, please make a regular office appointment.

Fees: Ours fees are determined by the weight of your pet, how long they are boarding, and what services are performed while they stay with us.  Pets will be weighed upon arrival to determine a boarding fee.  However, estimates may be given prior to boarding by using the most recent weight of your pet.  If you are interested, please contact our hospital for an estimate for your pet.  All boarders leaving our facility after 2:00 pm will be charged for a full day.  All boarders will be charged for the day they arrive at our facility regardless of the time of check-in.  All charges incurred during this stay must be paid at the time your pet is released.
